If you've got an iPad and a iBook that's lying around collecting dust bunnies, you can just put these two together and have a new notebook altogether. Neat isn't it? What all you need is an iBook (with its insides gutted out) and an iPad (obviously), iPad Camera Connection Kit and a Dock Extender Cable for iPod and yer done!
