I thought it was a lightsaber replica when I first saw the picture. It looks like the real thing if you've seen Star Wars but it doesn't work like one. It is, however, dangerous enough to burn skin and blind someone. Now I'm not one big fan of lasers, but it did piqued my interest. Maybe not lightsabers but I'm sure it can be a substitute laser gun. It costs $200 for those who are interested. Still, you'll need to read the warning that comes with it.
"Warning: Extremely dangerous is an understatement to the power of 1W of laser power. It will blind permanently and instantly and set fire quickly to skin and other body parts, use with extreme caution and only when using the included eye protection. Customers will be required to completely read and agree to our Class IV Laser Hazard Acknowledgment Form."After reading that warning statement made my skin crawl somehow.
