An elementary school teacher, aged 44, has been sentence to the maximum of 30 years imprisonment.
The defendant, Noaki Morita from Hiroshima, Japan, was charged with 46 counts of rape, 11 counts of attempted rape, 25 counts of indecent assault and 13 counts of child abuse to his students aging 9 to 12 from the years 2001 to 2006
And well, the 30 years imprisonment is not the end of it. He has to cough up 1550 million yen in compensation to the victims, parents and the prefecture, which is approximately US$16,464,700. You do the math.
