Nexus One USB Host Driver on Android 2.2
A neat tweak if I were to say so myself. Sven Killig made his Nexus One running Android 2.2 into a working USB host. He could watch movies from a thumb drive, use basic stuff like the mouse and keyboard, and as a webcam. Even running Linux on a monitor using a USB to DVI adapter is possible though he mentioned it'll get a little unstable on large applications. Read on for video!

Froyo on the Evo
HTC EVO 4g + xda = Froyo. That's right, the guys over at xda-developers has managed to root the EVO and even port Android 2.2 with it. As you can see from the video later on, the Froyo port is functional.

Nexus One Android Froyo is not Official
So you up and went to install Android 2.2 on your Nexus One and is happy with all the cool and new features on your phone. Sad to say, the installer that's been around the web is not the official release. According to Google employee Ry Guy, the official release of Android 2.2 for Nexus One will receive an OTA (Over the Air) message when Google pushes out the update.

Android 2.2 made its way to HTC Eris
Android Froyo has made it's way to HTC Eris sooner than I thought. It's an unofficial ROM, is barely functional and the keys doesn't work. I could say it's a great achievement. Let's hope the dev-team will will produce better port next.
