Deck Analysis: Bermuda Triangle
With the release of EB06, Dazzling Divas, as well as the first booster sets that introduces the new Break Ride units for the English community. Many players that regards Bermuda Triangle as a "not competitive" clan jump right into the boat that I tutted to myself when their explanation as to "why" was simply because, the clan is now more imba and can guarantee them wins. Yes, a big facepalm from me indeed.
I have been playing with Bermuda Triangle since EB02 was out, deciding to go for the Raindear built since it can be considered competitive as well as powerful if played correctly. But like many others, since an better units have been introduced, I know that it is time for an upgrade.

Deck Analysis: The awesomness of Spike Brothers
Spike Brothers, one of the best clans out there is quite fairly underrated. Okay, I won't exactly say underrated but more of underused in the tournament scene is more likely the word that we are looking for. I've been playing with Spike Brothers in tournaments since the day BT02 was out with General Seifried and is a clan that complements my play style completely. After EB03 was released, Spike Brothers has shown a whole new rush play style that puts many clans on their knees with Dudley Emperor. Attacking 5 to 9 times is possible, though the 9 times is only in theory and extremely difficult to pull off. They are also the clan that can push your opponent with early pressure, forcing them to guard and use up their hands early or getting them to 3 or 4 damage before they even ride a Grade 3, being able to hit for the 6th damage on turn 3 even with you shouting "Touchdown!!!!" with great pride.

Deck Analysis: Dark Irregulars
One of the underused clans in my area - Dark Irregulars. This clan is pretty strong, hitting big numbers easily and forcing the opponent to either not guard to take a damage or forcing them to drop multiple cards from hand just so they won't lose. But despite being so strong, it is very underplayed and underestimated. The number of Dark Irregulars players that I know of in my area are so little, that I can use one hand to count them all. Sadly, this is because most players prefer the poster clans of Vanguard; Royal Paladin, Gold Paladin, Shadow Paladin, Kagero and Narukami since these are slightly more easier to play with. Another reason would be that most players simply don't understand its mechanics and can't stand it slow field setup.

BT05: Cross-rides and what not...
So everyone's has been pretty much very hyped up about BT05 - Awakening of Twin Blades ever since it got released into the English world since 22nd February, due to the arrival of cross-rides. Despite the cheers of most English players and the jeers of some, I wasn't that excited about them. My Kagero and Shadow Paladin deck runs better without having the Department of the Environment or Peanut Butter Overlord in their midst. My Little Brother? I don't even play that clan (Royal Paladin).

So I have been away for a while...
To all readers, apologies for not updating for so long, for 3 years actually. I have been too busy with work and life among others that I haven't been updating. Add in some procrastination to the equation and voila! 2 years gone by without an update!
You may ask "Sure, you're back. So what? Almost no single soul is visiting this crappy place!"
Well, I'm not expecting anything; and neither should you! I'm just doing this for the fun of it. I may or may not do an everyday update kinda thing. I'll just randomly put up a post and be gone. It can be everyday, once a week, once a month...anything goes.
'So what kind of plans do you have for this place' you asked? Good question! It'll simply be things that interests me, anything. Be it technology, anime, gaming - anything. But most likely, the thing I may post more would be my hobbies which are mainly card games like Cardfight!! Vanguard and Weiss Schwarz. I may dab in a little stuff here and there but for now, Cardfight!! Vanguard will most likely dominate most of the posts. My experience with the game, likes and dislikes, strategies among others.
What's this "Vanguard" thing? Hmm, well it's a card game that has been around for quite a while, and the English version of this game has been around for slightly more than a year. A fun game which seems childish at first, but it takes quite a bit of strategy, trial and errors, skills and probably a little bit of luck to be good at this game. It's quite easy to pick up and after playing 2 or 3 matches, you'll start to get a hang of it. A little bit of warning though, it may be a little bit addictive.
Well, that's about it for this post. What can I say? It's just a simple status update of what I'm going to do to this barren place I call a "blog". But I do hope you stick around for a while.
