First Impression: angela - Soukyuu

With the new Fafner movie premiered in Japan on 25th December last year, angela released a new single with the movie's opening themes, 蒼穹 (Soukyuu in romaji. Translation is Azure Sky).

First Impressions - supercell feat.初音ミク - supercell tribute ~Stowaways~

This album is released at Comic Market 79, sadly though, I didn't have the time (and money) to go, so I wasn't actually able to get a copy of this album, which I sadly, had to download. Kinda hoping CDJapan will have it soon enough. It is available for preorder at the Sony Music Shop which costs slightly higher than Comic Market price. Release date is on the 17th January 2011.

First Impression: Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable

Being a fan of the Fate series, I had always wanted to get this since it came out last year. Too bad I didn't have a chance to buy it in time. That said, I was surprised when a Best Price version was available, even cheaper than last year's price. There's no screen shots for now, but I'll add them once I have time.

Fate/Unlimited Code is a 3D fighting game, graphics wise, but it's a standard 2D fighting game. You still could evade to the left or right or 180 degrees past the AI and the screen will follow your movement. It's actually quite easy to pick up and master each character's moves even if you have little to no understanding of Japanese, with Gilgamesh as the exception. His Noble Phantasm is pretty difficult to excecute. Archer come close, but his Noble Phantasm simply requires long battles to excecute.

First Impression: Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd PSP Accessory Set

If you're a Vocaloid fan, you'll definitely have to get this accessory set! It comes with everything a PSP owner would need. I have to admit, it's a little costly but considering it's not that easy to get, it's money well spent! There is a downside though, some of the stuff is not compatible with the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 series as it is originally made for the PSP-3000 series.

The accessory set comes with a turquoise silicon cover, a UMD case, a pouch, strap, decoration sticker and cleaning cloth, each featuring designs and colors taken from Miku. It's definitely a great set to go with if you have a turquoise colored PSP. Now, on with my review~~. Oh yea, I took pictures using my phone, so the quality might not be that great.

Arakawa Under the Bridge - Which is worse, fire or eviction?

I like how Sister performs his fire drill in case of emergencies - start a simulated-but-real fire and make it a tradition. The fact Rick was complacent for a few moment, like how we all usually are, till he saw the bonfire and climb down his home in mere seconds actually caught my eye as he confronts the arsonic Sister. Sister being a mother bird with Chief was expected but I did agree with Rick that he's spoiling Chief too much.

B Gata H Kei - Cheergirl Banzai!

Part 1
With Kosuda being 'rejected' in front of the shoe locker, he most probably thought it wasn't clear enough at the train and gave it another shot - infront of their classmates. How'd that happened? Maybe it was due to that suppsedly secret popularity contest amongst the guys with Yamada and Kyouka's tiebreaker resting on his shoulders. I do however would like to give Kosuda a pat on the back for being a man he didn't know he is even though it was just an accident.

K-ON!! - Past, Present and Future

Anyone could guess Yui will have no clue what her future goals are. I for one thought that she'll start a band or something but I didn't expect Ritsu to be clueless either. Nodoka was thinking they might end up as NEETs and Yui simply wrote that and University on her questionnaire just so she could be with Nodoka. She also wrote Miro's and Mugi's idea down just to be stopped by Mio. I'm got a good laugh by Yui's and Ritsu's reaction when it comes to English. Yui-Ritsu baka-combo never cease to amaze me.

Arakawa Under the Bridge - Bromance

With two of his secretaries, Shimazaki and Takai found him at the bridge, Rick have to tell a huge lie about running a power plant business under the bridge. As for the supporting cast, he asked Sister, Maria and Shiro for help claiming that they are the closest to being normal. Big mistake Rick, big mistake.

K-ON!! - Tea Party!!

A great episode that even the large wedding-like-cake can't even beat. And here are some reasons why - Mio getting stalked, teased and freaked out the way we all know and came to love. The stalker case was solved 5 minutes into the episode where we found out the Mio-fanclub is still around.

Arakawa Under the Bridge - Common Sense?

Teaching is a though job (it is!). I know as I work in an school, but not as a teacher though and if you've seen last week's episode, you know what Rick is getting himself into. Teaching kids with basic common sense is hard enough but teaching those guys living under the bridge whom has little to no common sense? Good luck out there Rick.

B Gata H Kei - It's Time For Pool! It's Summer!

Part 1
Battle of idols, Yamada vs Kyouka! I'm surprised Yamada could play the Oshieta A to Z with the recorder well but she has more trouble than worrying about with instruments to play. It's time for pool and since Takeshita recommended her to show of her good qualities, she decides to battle it out with her body even though she know she'll lose in the chest department and later, decides to beat her nemesis in a speed swimming showdown. It's too bad that she lost round one despite cheating for a headstart and her ego got wounded even more when Kyouka insulted her at the end even when she was the best swimmer last year.

K-ON!! - Pitter Patter Pitter Patter

It's raining and much to the horror of the keion-bu, they are doing everything they can to protect their instruments from mold. Such an example will be Yui and her lover, Gitah - even her sister and classmates called it her boyfriend. She got all wet just to make sure it's dry. You can say that this week's episode mostly focus on Yui and her obsession with Gitah

Kiss X Sis - Akiba Mania!

Episode chock full of cameos as we'll see Azu-nyan (by Ako), an oh-so-familiar guitar and the sound-so-familiar "nyaa". So what is the similarity between them? For starters, Azusa, Ako and the "nyaa" are from K-ON!, Kiss x Sis and Mayoi Neko Overrun! (as Nozomi) are all voiced by Taketatsu Ayana. Did I mentioned cosplays?

Arakawa Under the Bridge - Sukumizu Nino

The battle between Hoshi and Rick continues in the church. Rick won the battle and gave Hoshi a choice for penalty - to give up Nino or give up his job. Even though Rick won, he lost in some ways and is still refered to as "Himo-niisan" which is a brutal damage to his ever large ego despite being filthy rich.

B Gata H Kei - Sweet Old Forbidden Love

Part 1

4 seasons has passed in 6 episodes, that's pretty fast if you ask me. If you're getting a sense of dejavu while watching the first few minutes of the episode, you're not alone. Yamada is still a virgin and she's still aiming to have sex with a hundred of different guys. Will it go as planned? I doubt so afterall, Chika is in the same school with her now and gets hit on as soon as she got to school, Miyano is in the same class with her and the Kyouka that was last seen in episode 3. It's almost a guarantee that Yamada is worried that Kosuda might be seduced by Kyouka and looks up the net for shotguns and suicide bombing kits.

K-ON!! - Ton-chan grew up!!

For those who watched the seniors going to Kyoto for their field trip, this episode is for Ui and Azusa that stayed behind. It made me wonder why the rest of the club members have nori (seaweed) as their eyebrow in Azusa's mind. Personally, I find that weird. Well, not as weird as Jun's idea of the keionbu playing kick-the-can under the sunset.

Kissxsis - When the tank is full...

We've seen her plenty of times throughout the previous episodes being Keita's unfortunate victim - even though it is all an accident. I expected for Keita to be Mikuni's welcoming committee member for her introduction in the series. True enough he was there with the perfect timing while telling his buds his ideal type. There's also a special guest appearance by Plug and Sento. I didn't realize the relation between KissxSis and Juuden-chan until a little later.

Arakawa Under the Bridge - The Leeching CEO

I didn't really expect a new opening sequence. Nevertheless, the opening was still okay and it's mainly about Maria verbally abusing Sister. Another surprising element in the new opening is its similarity to Maria+Holic's (another of SHAFT's production) opening. Oddly enough, both Mariya and Maria are quite sadistic naturally.
