Well, looks like FFXIV won't be appearing in the Xbox 360 with Microsoft not wanting to work with Square Enix to bring it over.
Hiromichi Tanaka, the producer, has explained Xbox LIVE is a closed platform, and Microsoft wants to leave it that way which leaves Square Enix unable to work with it despite having started development on the Xbox 360 version before Microsoft announced this. Currently, all development on the Xbox 360 copy is on hiatus.
Well, we'll just have to go for the PS3 version. Better yet, revamp that PC and play on that!
