iPad - Your Secondary Screen
Have a MacBook but you need a secondary monitor while on the go? If you have an iPad, you could set it as a secondary monitor in seconds with Air Display. It supports landscape and portrait screen orientation on the iPad. The only downside is that hand gestures and Windows computers are not supported.

that would be a great benefit if the hand gesture feature worked while it was sharing display...
but for business folk on the go, this is ideal to setup in a hotel room or in a cafe on a lunch break :) thanks for sharing
